The interview I mentioned before aired yesterday on our TV. It actually turned out quite ok as they didn’t include my more awkward answers.
Unfortunately, it’s only in Slovene. But you do get to see a bit how my apartment looks like. :))
Oh, and me as a monk with Ani Pema! If your recognize me that is.
Thanks for this video. I didn’t catch it on TV and was hoping you will put it on-line.
Oh, as if I didn’t miss you enough already. You’ve changed. I can see it in your eyes. Must be all that ngondro!
My eyes, huh?
It’s the Rigden Abisheka, baby…
hehehehe
I miss you to, Nicole!
Luka: so what do you think?
What do I think? Nice place you’ve got
You gave the impression of a calm person with clear mind. Your answers look like a reflection of your mind. With them you gave basic information about Buddhism.
This calm way of talking, presenting your mind and giving the feeling you do not have your mind in a total mess is calming for a lot of people. Seeing you in your apartment and seeing that you can have lead a modern life and be devoted to ancient practices at the same time was a small shock for me
I always had this picture in my mind that those poles do not belong together - do not know why actually, but always have that king of picture in my mind…
As an overall impression the interview went fine. Usually people that talk about foreign culture and especially religions/philosophies create an image that is too abstract for an European to even imagine he is capable of adapting it. That was not a case here, at least I did not see it that way. I did not see somebody that is flying somewhere in the air and is from another planet/sphere. I saw somebody that I could easily meet in the street and would not even turn my head in his direction
