Who is looking for whom?

I have been looking for you everywhere,
O Father Padmakara,
In faces and vaginas of my lovers,
In monasteries, friends,
I have travelled the world seeking you.
I even tried to forget your smiling face,
To become deaf and dumb,
To close my heart and mind so I would not
Hear your incessant call.
Who is calling who?
Please grant your blessings
So that mind can finally meet itself
And I can recognize who I have always been.
Please grant your blessings
So I can benefit others.
This arose in the mind of one known as Clarity of the Heart on the second full moon of July 2004 during a Sadhana of Mahamudra practice in Dharma Place of Great Bliss. May there be virtue!
